Trio was honored to attend the 2016 Arizona Construction Championships at Phoenix Metro High School. For the fourth year in a row, Rick Schapler, the Construction Technology teacher led another amazing event where valleywide shop students competed in electric, masonry, carpentry and construction tech competitions.
The results are in and in this competition, everyone wins. Students had the opportunity to translate skills they learned in shop class and design, build and showcase them in a competition. The construction industry had the opportunity to invest in their future workforce. Thank you to all the companies that sponsored alongside of Trio.
Educators were able to witness a thriving program that is providing answers for Workforce Development issues and equipping our youth with real life skills and application.
